Essential Vaccinations for Dogs & Cats

Yearly health checks are highly recommended - early detection in many medical disease is the key to a longer better quality life.

  • Leptospirosis
    Leptospirosis vaccination once a year.
  • Rabies
    Rabies vaccine at 5 months of age and then once every 3 years.
  • Heartworm prevention
    Use heartworm preventions all year around or heartworm injection annually.
  • Kennel cough
    For kennel cough vaccination could be given once a year.
  • DHPPIL
    Distemper / Hepatitis / Leptopirosis / Parvo and Para Influenza vaccines at 8-10 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks old, 12 months after last vaccine

  • FVRCP
    Feline viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia vaccines at 8-10 weeks, 12 weeks old, at 16 weeks, 12 months after last vaccine.

  • Flea / tick prevention
    Use flea/tick prevention all year around for protection against tick-borne diseases.
  • Deworming
    Deworming at 6-8 weeks, 12-14 weeks, 16-18 weeks old and thereafter once every 3-6 months.

  • Vaccinations are required to protect your pet against infectious and frequently lethal diseases.
  • Do not let your pet come into contact with other animals until completely vaccinated.
  • Keep the vaccination card in a safe place, it is a proof of vaccination. Remember to take this card to your veterinarian when your pet is vaccinated.
